Senior Adult Activity Center

The Ohatchee Senior Adult Activity Center (OSAAC) is a comfortable gathering place where area citizens 55 years of age and older can meet, chat, travel, play games, and fellowship 5 days a week. A monthly calendar of planned activities is published by the Director and is available at the Center during normal operating hours. The OSAAC has a large screen TV, small library with seating area, overhead projector and screen, sound system, and lots of tables and chairs to accommodate the Members. Sponsored primarily by the Town of Ohatchee, the OSAAC also conducts fund-raising activities to offset the cost of day trips, birthday parties, and other functions for its Members.

The members often work on a group project such as a Block of the Month quilt, pillow cases for charity, and block swaps. The group also pieces, finishes, and donates a quilt or other project annually as a fund-raiser for the Center. They attend quilt retreats, go on “fabric shop hops” and attend Quilt Expos.
